Choosing a print
Should I choose a paper print or a canvas reproduction?
Start with the presentation you want, then compare the actual material specification. Paper and canvas are different supports; neither label alone proves better colour, durability or printing quality.
For paper, check the sheet size, printed area and whether you need a frame or mount. For canvas, check whether it is supplied rolled or stretched, its finished depth and how the image continues around the edges. These choices change the finished object and the space it occupies.
A quiet, framed presentation and an unglazed stretched object can suit different rooms. Decide which you want to live with, then read the listing for the exact version. Do not infer paper weight, archival performance or canvas construction when the seller has not specified them.
