Choosing a print

How do I choose the right print size for my wall?

Measure the usable wall area and test the outside dimensions of the finished piece with paper or removable tape before ordering. Include the frame and mount, not just the printed image.

Mark nearby furniture, sockets and the clearances you want to keep. Try the proposed outline from the doorway and from the place where you normally sit. A photograph of a room in a listing is not reliable evidence of scale unless dimensions are stated.

Check whether the selected size describes the sheet, visible image, canvas or outer frame. If you are arranging several pieces, include the gaps between them in the total width. There is no single proportion that works for every room; your available space, furniture and viewing distance should guide the choice.
