A street that draws the eye into the distance, with a yellow terrace beneath a blue sky. This reference is acrylic, not canvas: the support changes the buying questions.
The original artwork
The Kröller-Müller Museum dates Van Gogh’s Terrace of a Café at Night to around 16 September 1888. The scene depicts a café terrace on the Place du Forum in Arles.

Where we would try it
We would try it in a small dining area or near a breakfast corner, while considering light falling onto the support. The street perspective leads the eye into the scene and the yellow awning sets the first impression. A strip of clear wall around it may be more useful than another café picture immediately beside it.
How to pair it
We would start with natural wood and a neutral wall. If a warm lamp is nearby, check the reflection from the usual seat before settling on a position. We do not promise that acrylic improves colour or depth: a glossy surface also raises questions about what will be reflected in it.
The checked reproduction
The Posterlounge option checked on Amazon.es is selected as acrylic and shows 40 × 30 cm; the title says 30 × 40 cm. The listing describes a 5 mm panel, glossy finish and included wall mounting. We have not physically verified these features.

What to check
Do not buy a canvas option assuming it is the one described here. Check both the material selector and size pair. Ask for side and rear views, confirm the weight and included mounting instructions, and establish compatibility with your wall. Included mounting does not prove that the same fixings suit every surface.
- Confirm the option and outer dimensions before buying; do not extrapolate specifications to other sizes.
- Try a paper template on the wall and look from your usual viewing position.
- Check the seller, package contents and current terms directly on Amazon.es.

Our reading
It is an interesting direction if you prefer a panel presentation and enjoy the urban scene. If avoiding reflections is your priority, this documentary research does not settle that requirement: ask for evidence of the finish or explore another support. Our profile identifies an option, not its installation safety or behaviour in your lighting.
