The artwork in your space
Red poppies form a diagonal against the blue sky and green field. The figures do not compete with the flowers; they lead the eye from the distance towards the foreground. We would pair it with pale walls and just one small red accent so the colour connection does not become too literal.
Before you choose
The selected scene shows two pairs of figures and a blue parasol in the foreground. Do not confuse it with Monet's other poppy fields. In the 70 × 50 cm format, check that fitting the image to the stretcher does not remove the distant house or the flowers along the left edge.
